我们将千年陶瓷工艺与数字制造技术相遇——定窑白瓷为胎,计算机里建模,窑火中成型。每一件作品,都经过数字设计与 1280°C 高温烧制的双重淬炼。
We bring together millennia of ceramic craft and digital manufacturing — Dingyao white porcelain as the body, modeled in the computer, taking form in the kiln. Every piece undergoes the dual refinement of digital design and 1280°C firing.
工艺理念Craft Philosophy
传统陶瓷讲究「泥、形、釉、火」四要素。我们用三维建模重新定义「形」,用 3D 打印拓展「泥」的边界。在「釉」与「火」上,我们选择了定窑白瓷泥——定窑,宋代五大名窑之一,其白瓷釉色白中泛暖、温润似象牙,世称「象牙白」。施以透明釉,在 1280°C 窑火中让釉面自然流淌出定窑标志性的「泪痕」纹理。从数字建模到千年窑火,完成从泥到瓷的蜕变。
Traditional ceramics honor four essential elements: clay, form, glaze, and fire. We redefine "form" through 3D modeling and expand the boundaries of "clay" through additive manufacturing. For "glaze" and "fire," we chose Dingyao white porcelain clay — one of the Five Great Kilns of the Song Dynasty, Dingyao is known for a warm, ivory-toned white, "ivory white." Glazed transparent and fired at 1280°C, the surface develops Dingyao's signature "tear-mark" drips, each piece unique. From digital modeling to the ancient kiln, clay becomes porcelain.

3D 陶瓷打印,是什么让我们选择了这条路Why We Chose 3D Ceramic Printing
制作一只传统茶壶,拉坯只能做圆的,注浆需要先做模具,手捏高度依赖匠人多年的手感。而我们要做的茶壶,需要中空夹壁来隔热;我们要做的香粉盒,盖子与盒身需要微米级的密合度;我们要做的每一道转角,需要 G2 连续曲率——不是「差不多」的圆角,而是数学意义上的完美曲线。这些,传统方法回答不了。
Crafting a traditional teapot: the wheel can only produce symmetrical forms, slip casting requires a mold, hand-building relies on years of practiced touch. But the teapot we envisioned needed a hollow double wall for insulation. The powder box we imagined called for micron-level precision between lid and body. Every corner we designed required G2 curvature continuity — not a "close enough" fillet, but a mathematically perfect curve. These are questions traditional methods simply could not answer.
于是我们选择了陶瓷膏体挤出式 3D 打印。将定窑白瓷泥调配为可流动的膏状材料,像蛋糕裱花一样,一层一层精准堆叠出器物的雏形。这不是炫技,而是解题——3D 打印不是在取代手工,而是在回答传统手工无法回答的问题。它让「设计」不再受限于「成型」的瓶颈。
So we chose ceramic paste extrusion 3D printing. Dingyao white porcelain clay is formulated into a printable paste and deposited layer by layer — like piping frosting onto a cake — to build the vessel's initial form. This is not spectacle. It is a solution. 3D printing does not replace the hand — it answers questions the hand alone cannot answer. It frees "design" from the bottleneck of "forming."
打印完成只是开始。器物还需静置干燥,在数字模型中预先补偿烧制收缩,经过素烧定型,再施以手工透明釉——最终,在 1280°C 的窑火中完成蜕变。3D 打印只改变了「成型」这一环。后面的釉与火,依然是千年前的味道。
Printing is only the beginning. The piece must rest and dry, its firing shrinkage compensated for in advance within the digital model. It undergoes bisque firing for structural integrity, then receives its transparent glaze — applied by hand. Finally, the 1280°C kiln completes the metamorphosis. 3D printing changes only one link in the chain: forming. The glaze and the fire that follow — they taste exactly as they did a thousand years ago.
跨越千年的对话A Dialogue Across a Millennium
定窑始于唐,盛于宋。那时的工匠在河北曲阳的窑场里,用双手感受泥的湿度,用肉眼判断火的颜色。一千年后,同一片土地上的同一种泥,来到了一块屏幕前。
Dingyao began in the Tang and flourished in the Song. Back then, artisans in Quyang, Hebei, felt the moisture of clay with their hands and judged the color of the flame with their eyes. A thousand years later, the same clay from the same land arrives before a screen.
宋人不知道什么是 G2 曲线,不知道什么是参数化建模,不知道什么是中空夹层结构。但他们用手感做出了同样温润的器型,用经验找到了同样精准的火候。我们做的,只是换了一种语言,把那份温润翻译成数学。
The Song artisans knew nothing of G2 curves, parametric modeling, or hollow double-wall structures. But their hands found shapes just as gentle, their experience hit the same precise temperatures. What we have done is simply translate that gentleness into a different language — the language of mathematics.
这不是断裂,是对话。跨越千年的对话。泥还是那片泥,釉还是那道透明釉,窑火还是那 1280°C。变的只是「如何成形」——从一个工匠的手,变成一台 3D 打印机的手。而最终,它们抵达了同一个终点:在你手中,安静地做一只好器物。
This is not rupture. It is dialogue. A dialogue across a thousand years. The clay — the same. The glaze — the same transparent coat. The fire — the same 1280°C. The only thing that changed is how the form came to be: from one artisan's hands to a 3D printer's hands. And in the end, they arrive at the same destination: in your hands, quietly being a good vessel.
正窑之名The Name "Zhengyao"
正窑,取「正统之窑」之意。我们不做快消品,只做经得起时间凝视的作品。无论是茶席上的器物,还是香案前的静物,都希望在你手中,成为日常生活里安静而持久的陪伴。
Zhengyao, meaning "the orthodox kiln." We do not make disposable goods. We make objects worthy of time's gaze. Whether it is a vessel on the tea table, or a still life before the incense altar, we hope each piece becomes a quiet, enduring companion in your everyday life.
